The 22nd annual Women in Longview Day (WILD) "Dawn of a New Day...Possibilities Unlimited" event will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009. Tickets for the event are $25.00 and are available at various business locations in Longview, TX. Please visit the WILD website for more information. Tickets are not sold through this website.

Women in Longview Day is a half-day program of events designed to provide  women of Longview with opportunities to learn from each other. Each year, the event attracts more than 400 participants of diverse ages, backgrounds and interests. Many are career women in various fields as well as homemakers or retired women. Men are welcome to come to this event to view the exhibits, enjoy the lunch and support the women in their lives.

The 28th annual Upshur County Health Fair will be Saturday, March 21, 2009. 

The fair will include various health related vendors offering information. There will be free cholesterol screenings with  recommended fasting, along with blood sugar, blood pressure and oximetry, door prizes and refreshments. Admission is free.
