Food for the Untamed Soul Workshop Series - Complete (Monday Night)

Welcome to the Artemis in the City “Food for the Untamed Soul” Nutrition, Self-Healing & Lifestyle Plan for Everyone!

This four-part workshop series is designed to teach you to effectively make lasting nutrition and lifestyle changes that will improve your health and help you prevent disease.

This workshop series was developed and is taught by Danielle Heard, MS, HHC, Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Certified Natural Whole Foods Chef and the Founder of Artemis in the City, LLC. The “Food for the Untamed Soul” health education program is based on her individualized health counseling programs that successfully help people lose weight, heal from many health symptoms and disease, increase energy, gain mental clarity, increase physical beauty and create lasting health and well-being.

The primary focus of the “Food for the Untamed Soul” health education program is on the implementation of nourishment and positive lifestyle change behaviors. There is no sale of nutritional products, calorie counting, fad dieting, weighing and measuring of foods or weigh-ins involved. The entire workshop series includes 12 classes (24 hours of lecture and demonstration) divided into four part segments of 3 classes each. Each class will present new information that will help you continue to build a healthy life.

You have the option of purchasing and participating in the entire workshop series (12 classes) or only purchasing individual parts (3 classes in each part).

Get It Together Health Fair 2011

The 9th Annual LeTourneau University Get It Together Health Fair will be Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The fair will include more than 75 health related vendors offering information about health and wellness. There will be free complete lipid profiles and glucose testing, nutrition counseling, fitness tests, strength testing, eye and glaucoma screenings and more! The health fair will also include health activities and games for children. Admission is free to the public.

Create a Better World with Whole Foods

The event will include two one hour seminars featuring Danielle Heard, MS, HHC, Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Natural Whole Foods Chef and Founder of Artemis in the City. Danielle will educate and inspire you to "Create a Better World with Whole Foods."

Danielle will share her personal story of overcoming fibromyalgia and connective tissue disease, and highlight the impact food choices have on individual health and the health of our World.

Women in Longview Day is a half-day program of events designed to provide women of Longview with opportunities to learn from each other. Each year, the event attracts more than 400 participants of diverse ages, backgrounds and interests. Many are career women in various fields as well as homemakers or retired women. Men are welcome to attend this event to hear the seminars, view the exhibits, enjoy the lunch and support the women in their lives.

2nd Annual Living Green Symposium

The 2nd Annual Living Green Symposium will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler, Texas.
