Record Attendance for Whole Foods Seminar in East Texas

Wow! The New Year started off with a bang for Artemis in the City as East Texans broke the attendance record for Longview Regional Medical Center’s Healthy Woman Seminars and turned out to learn about whole foods nutrition. The seminar was held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 and was titled “Wellness Through Whole Food Nutrition.”

Over 100 people made reservations with 85 or more actually attending the event. We were very happily surprised by the interest from the public and even had someone attend the event from as far away as the Dallas, Texas area. It was very unexpected to see people from Texas interested in learning about whole foods nutrition and holistic health. An interest in food and healing among East Texans is noticeably growing – and it is EXCITING!!
